ATTACHMENT PATTERN THEORY Attachment theory is focused on the relationships and bonds between people, particularly long-term relationship, including those between a parent and child between romantic patterns. “ Bowlby ’’ was interested in understanding the separation anxiety and distress that children experience when separated from their primary caregivers. v Four Types Of Attachment Patterns are :- 1. Secure Attachment : The safely attached children are able to detect the best when they have the knowledge of the safe base to return to the time of need. Secure attachment is classified by children who show distress when their caregivers leaves then but are able to compose themselves knowing that their caregiver will return. Children with secure attachment feel protected by their caregivers, and they know that they can depend on them to return. Therefore, safe attachment has good impact on child attachment. 2. ...
